Caran d'Ache artist's graphite pencils in a wide range of lead grades.
Noticeably thicker than other brands of graphite pencils, the hexagonal shaft is of very high-quality, whilst still thin enough to allow sharpening with standard width pencil sharpeners.
An unusual feature is that the grey painted finish reflects the lead grade, the darker the paint finish the softer the lead grade. The end of each pencil is paint dipped the same colour to complete the look.
